Ten individuals were injured, four critically, and three legislation enforcement officers were hurt Monday night time after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, in line with police.

He said there were “a couple totally different groups shooting at each other typically.”

“As we stand here proper now, we’re fortunate we don’t have a useless cop or useless citizen or lifeless neighborhood members," Reynolds mentioned.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are still working the scene.

Two individuals were arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police said.

These suspects were recognized as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing stories from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Workplace. 

Ayesha McGee was charged with third-degree assault and battery and Tahira McGee with second-degree assault and battery and resisting arrest. 

Officers stated more arrests are anticipated.

Officers said South Avenue from Nassau Road to Drake Avenue and America Avenue from Reid Road to Mary Road within the space will stay closed to course of the taking pictures scene.
