Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There were two juveniles within the automotive. Both have been taken to a hospital and are now in stable situation, officers mentioned. We don't know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.
