Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Close to White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance throughout the street from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Both have been taken to a hospital and are now in stable condition, officers mentioned. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
