EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Alabama fugitive Casey White was taken into custody in Indiana, and his suspected confederate, Vicky White, died Monday evening from injuries sustained by a self-inflicted gunshot wound as authorities ready to arrest the pair, regulation enforcement sources confirmed.

Update 9:25 p.m. EDT Might 9: Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding confirmed Vicky White’s dying to The Associated Press simply after 9 p.m. EDT Monday.
