Barini met her first sufferer at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the man fentanyl-laced medicine and left the room. Police discovered him lifeless hours later, court records state.

Per week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with one other man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, where she gave him fentanyl-laced drugs. The person also died of a drug overdose, a criticism states.

The following month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third victim in College Level, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced drugs that led to a fatal overdose, prosecutors stated.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her final recognized sufferer, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, the place she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, generally often called a “date rape” drug. The man died shortly afterward.

That day, court docket data state, Barini repeatedly tried to eliminate the sufferer’s physique. The kitchen workers mourned the loss, Dallorso informed the Instances.

“Everyone in the kitchen right now is heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso said.
