Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs day-after-day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak started on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Massive Mac. I’ve counted each Big Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by way of life here, lots of people mentioned, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I suppose I proved them fallacious,” he said.

His son will not be shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had happy meals. I always liked my hen nuggets, and my brother at all times cherished his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an everyday life sort of factor for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a assorted weight loss plan.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets daily. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, but finally you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, however he certainly does,” he said.

Gorske says he will proceed eating Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet until he dies.
