The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District police drive are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary Faculty and the state's overview of the law enforcement response, multiple law enforcement sources inform ABC News.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Unbiased College District did not immediately respond to requests for remark from ABC Information.
In keeping with sources, the choice to cease cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information convention Friday during which he mentioned the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the wrong choice" and opposite to protocol.
