Nashville Public Library launches ‘Freedom to Learn’ campaign

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It's a topic that is taken maintain in Tennessee: books like "Maus" or "Walk Two Moons" have been pulled from cabinets.

The purpose is to get the 5,000 library cards in the arms of recent sign-ups this month.

"We're not making an attempt to be a push again — a pressure pushing again towards these choices — we need to be a substitute for say, if you may not have the ability to get it there... you will get it right here," said Brown.
