Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance throughout the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There were two juveniles within the car. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in stable condition, officers said. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
