Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the automobile. Both had been taken to a hospital and are now in secure situation, officers mentioned. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
