DALLAS - A 15-year-old woman from North Richland Hills is now house after being abducted by a person at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks sport at American Airlines Middle. But the family still seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not appearing swiftly sufficient regarding the crime, which had the girl as part of a sex-trafficking operation.
“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry mentioned. “Our intent is that method (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims against them for his or her negligence and different causes of action.''
Fortenberry mentioned the teen’s father knowledgeable police on the recreation when he realized she was missing. But, according to the attorney, the father was informed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police.
Fortenberry claims NRH police stated they weren’t capable of assist because the incident occurred in Dallas.

The attorney said it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that labored to find the lacking woman, who was being held in an Oklahoma Metropolis motel.
Dallas Police advised WFAA that they followed protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD within the search.
The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was found, the workforce releasing the next statement: “The American Airlines Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been discovered.Each entities will proceed to cooperate with local and regional legislation enforcement on this case.''
