The family of an 11-year-old woman who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played useless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed in the course of the taking pictures.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and he or she was simply crying, like 'I feel it just hit Miah. I feel everything got here to actuality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of the two teachers killed. Her mates and classmates have been additionally focused.

Rivera stated that is when Miah went into survival mode.

Miah was injured but taken to the hospital and has been launched.
